Debugging on TCL flip2 on KEFS

Keka

if you used neutronnoavb.img try using the regular neutron.img (when i used the noavb image i also got stuck in boot loop)

Check this and this out.

After you get the phone working again look at the second link above for how to do it on the KEKA software.

@ymcp I don’t think it has to do with which neutron.

Please update this thread if you come to any conclusions.

THE FOLLOWING IS ONLY RECCOMENDED WITH THE CUSTOM RECOVERY IN PLACE, AS IMPROPERLY FLASHING THESE CAN RESULT IN “SECURE BOOT FAILURE”, BRICKING PHONE IF IT DOESN’T HAVE CUSTOM RECOVERY
you can directly flash keka/kefs roms to pre kefs device and fix the network issue by flashing these 2 things
can be flashed with fastboot from powershell with the following commands

.\fastboot flash md1dsp md1dspkefs.bin
.\fastboot flash md1img md1imgkefs.bin

I really appreciate this ROM. Would you know what happens if do a reset on the phone after installing your ROM. would the browser come back?

nope, stays the same, though you will have to disable wifi-calling e911 address again by dialing *#*#66384#*#*

does this work to flash from keka device to keez software also

This ROM will put your phone on the KEFS firmware (not keez)

no. those files were pulled from a keka device and won’t help for that. (I actually attempted to do what you wanted using files which had been pulled from kefh phone but it bricked the phone)

mot really understanding ill explain my problem: i have a keka device i flashed with a keez super, will this fix it?

No.

i think that if you do the regular updates from the the phone settings menu till you have your phone on KEFS you should be able to then flash this ROM from NotaBird

this fixes my services? because i cant update without service or wifi and with my flashed KEEZ super onto KEKA device

Keez rom won’t work for you. you’re using a keka phone so as far as i know you need a keka/kefs rom.

Or you can flash the network partions posted above if you already flashed the ROM by mistake

His (notabird) ROM is kefs, which works on a KEKA device, but I recommend to only flash KEKA devices with other roms after the network is unlocked because of you flash it when it’s locked your device might stay locked to tracfone forever.

I have a keka rom but when i flashed it there was on service or wifi, How does tag do it?

Use these commands
.\fastboot flash md1dsp md1dspkefs.bin
.\fastboot flash md1img md1imgkefs.bin
From “UP THE CREEK” above in this thread
This fixes the service issue, it worked for one of my tcl’s that had the same issue.

Which super did you originally flash?

Can you give a bit more background, what issue exactly this will fix?
