Version 1.17 has been released.

The big feature in this release is a new bulk licensing system. Instead of buying a single license code that can be used 10 times, we now have a web app for resellers to log into and purchase discounted licenses individually.

This way you can use a different license key for each phone. Also, the new license keys from the reseller app are only 10 characters long, instead of the 20 character from our Payhip store.

The reseller app works on a pre-paid account basis. You can purchase license credit from us via your credit card, which can then be redeemed for licenses at $15 each. We do have a minimum pre-pay of $100.

I will be removing the 10 license option from our store. Please contact me if you want a reseller account on our new platform.

Just a note to all the people signing up for reseller accounts. There is now a payment link in the reseller portal to purchase more license credit.

Tested 1.17 on Samsung a14 and when turning on wifi block the app freezes but it turns on but it simply doesn’t do nothing wifi stays open

And btw waiting already very long that if private dns is set to a filter when trying to change it in settings it should be blocked.
I know there is no android api for that but you should be able to do it with accessibility block

What version of Android?

I’m working on a better solution.

Anyone have any tips with allowing just Uber with the egate app? Is it secure? Is there a way to block the in-app browser but not any functionality?

Android 14

@FlipAdmin After Installing the latest version to update exsiting version and renabling usb debugging. And running the Adb command with caps and all.(realized it must be in caps the way it shows on the app. Though not sure why, but worked only in caps.)
I tried opening the app. All i get is a frozen screen? What did i do wrong? Or is their a bug?

That’s definitely not supposed to happen. Can you get the adb logcat output for when you try to open eGate?

logcat.txt

Should have the full report. I guess ctrl F will help you find what you need. @FlipAdmin

Dont know adb logcat too well to just copy the app progress. Seems like there’s a way. But hopefully above works.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t contain any information about eGate. Not sure what to do at this point.

Hmm thats odd. When you search for egate through that file, nothing comes up? I’m seeing the logcat for egate on my end.

Yes, that’s right. Maybe tomorrow I can remote in via Anydesk and take a look.

I’m available the next 2 hours to log in via Anydesk.

Version 1.18 released to fix a bug that prevents app startup in some instances.

@Flip2Talk can you test this and see if it fixes your problem?

@FlipAdmin Same frozen screen. Nothing seemed to have changed. Just the new version 1.18

@FlipAdmin At this point it seems like I need to push an update or fix whatever is causing the issue as to why the app is not opening. It doesn’t seem like I could even uninstall the egate. Or do much with a frozen app.
( I unlocked the Chrome browser to be able to push for the new update.)
I guess I’ll wait till you get a minute to log into anydesk to take a peak. Let me know.
Thanks

I’m out of time for today, but tomorrow morning I should be able to find some time. I’ll PM you when I’m available.
