would love to see an online access option for egate so Someone can remotely control the filter

There are a million MDM products out there that do this and require a subscription. Mine does neither.

Are they compatible with flip phones, if so can you recommend one

I don’t know.

So after installing it for a family member, I realized every time they wanted something open they would have to bring the device to me. Which in a way is better than a filter that you call up every Monday and Thursday telling them you want this open, this closed. With this being a one-time fee versus all the other MDM out there with a subscription.
I didn’t actually try it but I would try to install anyDesk on the device and just log in using anyDesk to remotely control the device and open the filter and enable whatever is needed.
I’m just thinking out loud I didn’t actually test that but I don’t see why it shouldn’t work. That would effectively make the device remotely controlled.

So it works, but you’ll need to select the on-screen keyboard to manually input the code and have the otherside click enter. This way they dont see you inputting the code. As you’re typing it on your end. Besides for having a black screen so you would need to do it this way… heres a picture of the black screen and which keyboard layout to choose on anydesk.
