I don’t have any zip file and I also don’t have that path

Did you download the maps?

Yes

What is the name of the downloaded file?

OpenMapChest United States 2025.03.03 gmap.torrent

What’s the advantage to this over google maps

It is entirely offline once set up. No other benefit.

You downloaded the torrent file, which is just a link to the actual download. They have a non-torrent download option.

I don’t see anything

Cant you just download offline maps From google maps. way simpler

Deletes after 30 days also they don’t have that option for a computer

To enable direct downloads, you have to make a donation first. I’m trying to upload the USA map to my google drive so everyone can download it for free. It’s 5 GB, so it will take a while to upload.

Yeah I know that
But in the Garmin dir I don’t have a dir called maps

Did you run Basecamp yet? I think that the Maps folder might be created the first time it runs.

Yes I did
