Hotspot Fix with Root

I found this command online that bypasses carrier hotspot restrictions and I want it to be tested if someone tests it and it works pls let me know thanks…
Requirements
Root
Termux

sqlite3 /data/user_de/0/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db "UPDATE carriers SET carrier_entitlement=0 WHERE _id=1;"

also note the for non root devices one can use Pda net

Does it work to connect to random networks also
