I am encountering a strange error on (modified) Waze on Lg exalt VN220. Installed a while ago, and it worked fine. Now suddenly its not working. When I start the app its giving me the original license-agreement page, and after I accept, it’s saying “Failed to create account”
I tried
-Trying again (many times)
-Uninstalling and reinstalling the app
-Turning off mobile data and connecting to WIFI
(storage on phone is not full, mobile data works fine for other apps)
Any ideas, or alternate apk’s to try would be appreciated.
Also if anyone has a working Google Maps app (preferably with images blocked) that would also be helpful.
Update
Same problem on Kyocera DuraXV with both the Apps4 Flip version, and a different one I had. After uninstalling and installing a few different versions, I seem to have gotten it working…
No I am not using the latest version, that might have to do with it. Part if posting here was to ask that ifs someone has the latest version, they would kindly offer it here…
You first install the Store app on the phone and then download it directly form there? Is that necessary?
Does the store app need to be modified…?
Does the app work from the store without modification?
Can you pull the APK and share it with me?
A little guidance would be appreciated…
aurora store is a google play store client, basically acts as the google play store without needing google google services. I have aurora store installed and used it to install waze. If you want you can go to evozi and put com.waze in the address bar to download the waze app directly (though I can’t be sure it will be the right ARM version). It is not optimized for small screens but I’m using an Xposed module to customize the DPI, somewhere between 80-110 looks normal.
I’m using the tcl flip, so the app doesn’t need to be modified. if you’re using an lg classic or the like, you can download the latest waze from evozi and change the package name. I’ll try to upload a modified version with a normal DPI if I have time to make it
